I've been quiet for a while, moving through my own struggles in life. I was living with swelling and pain in my body, have been working it through and learned a lot. I'm on the other side of it now, recovering nicely. Quite thankful on that, but it did make me aware of a lot I had not dealt with. In life we all go through good and bad times, but our accumulation of emotional trauma can really mess with our Body, Mind and Spirit. We doubt our first thoughts and hold back from acting, later realizing we could have saved pain, misery and regret. Are We Really Caring or Do We Pretend to Care?

On a trip home from Ottawa, an experience reminded me of the importance of caring. My husband and I had stopped at a comfort station along highway 401 near Toronto. It was a busy Sunday evening with lots of traffic, so lots of people in the restaurants and bathrooms. Upon entering the washroom area, a loud sound of rushing water came roaring all the way down the long row of bathroom stalls. I couldn’t tell where the water noise was coming from but it sounded like a toilet stuck in flush mode. Maintaining our clean water supply is important, so I naturally started looking for the cause. 5 Things I’ve learned about Allergies and Asthma

Over the years I have witnessed many improvements in clients suffering with allergies and asthma. Their progress can be life-changing and it's great to see! Here are some common elements that consistently need attention to lessen the severity of allergies and asthma symptoms: We look at what’s triggering the stuffiness, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes. It gets interesting as we uncover what bothers a person and what they have weaknesses for. For example do they have a weakness to Ragweed, being outdoors or fields of flowers (yes, that was an actual weakness for a client who no longer suffers from annual Ragweed symptoms)? Many of you know I grew up with animals, I loved them and they were my friends. We always had a cat and dog but around 8 years of age I was thrilled the moment I rode a friend's pony. I've been feeling different and rather alone in many circumstances since I was a child. Many people don't appreciate a person who's different. Instead they mock, bully and try to control the bright, innocent and caring individuals who are just a little different from themselves. These experiences create sadness that goes very deep and makes life seem an uphill journey. I recently watched the movie "Frozen" and was blown away by the song "Let It Go". A Fly in the Bedroom

Ever experienced a night with a fly buzzing around your bedroom - it's nagging bzzz around your head wakes you up throughout the night? I recently survived such a night - kept debating whether to simply get up and kill the darned thing (and wake my sleeping husband) or hope it would settle down so I'd sleep. Letting the fly live didn't work out so well, it was a long night! But you know I think there's a lesson in it!
